I'm Stetson Anderson, founder of Imperial Tax Advisors — and I came to this from the construction world, not a cubicle. I grew up in a small town in Morgan, Utah, putting in fence lines on my dad's development projects. Eventually I started my own company doing excavation and sprinkler installs, so I know what it feels like to build something yourself and then watch a chunk of it disappear at tax time.

The moment it really hit me was watching my parents. They had a huge year in their development business — and got handed a jaw-dropping $657,000 IRS bill. I remember thinking, there has to be a better way. So I went and found it. I threw myself into tax strategy, learned everything I could, and realized just how many people are overpaying for no reason other than nobody showed them the alternative.

That's the whole reason Imperial Tax exists. I didn't want to be another preparer who files your return and disappears — I wanted to be in your corner all year, helping you keep more of what you work so hard for. I specialize in real estate agents, contractors, and investors because that's where the biggest opportunities in the tax code live, but I work with plenty of high earners and business owners who just want someone actually fighting for them.
